I have been using this dentist for more than 15 years. The staff is really friendly and fun. When Dr. Hove retired, I was initially skeptical of this new dentist. I like things the old way, change is bad, predictability is good. However, in dentistry, change can be a good thing. Dr. Matos has a nice, calm personality, but he also likes to joke and be funny. Amazingly, he seems to really enjoy his job! Investing in new technology allowed Dr. Matos to accurately diagnose the cause of pain in area that otherwise would have been a guessing game. A day later and no residual pain from my replacement fillings. The updates to the waiting room are great. It’s like stepping into a friend’s house. In summary, I’m happy to say this will continue to be my dentist for many years.

To say I was nervous about needing one crown, let alone three, would be an understatement. The first one though went as smooth as can be! Dr. Matos and his staff listened to my concerns and acted in the best possible way to make sure I was as comfortable as can be. I’m still not looking forward to the other two, but I definitely am truly not as worried about them as I was.

Just received a crown, it fit excellently!

I have been going to Allen Dental for 15 years. I was sad to see Dr. Hove retire and apprehensive to change dentists after so long. Dr. Matos had big shoes to fill and he has stepped up and continued the awesome services. The staff is an incredible group, and I am watching Dr. Matos move the practice headlong into 21st century technology. A young mind, an outgoing personality, and a general concern for patient comfort, Dr. Matos is going to excel at his craft. Highly recommend giving Dr. Matos and his staff the opportunity to serve you.

Dr Matos fits the bill! He’s very communicative, easy to talk to, and keeps you informed about what he’s doing. And, he does know what he’s doing!

I’ve been going to this dental office since I was about 7 years old & they’ve always made me feel welcomed. They aren’t there to only do a job but make people feel cared for. Not just the previous dentist Daniel but the front desk assistant Jackie & his assistant Pam are all very sweet. The new dentist Dr. Matos is super generous & a blessing addition to the dentistry. I also appreciate his assistant Marie, they work well together & both have a nice spirit. When they were doing my cavities & teeth filing they made sure I was all good frequently.
